We are using Playfab for Xbox. Both XSX and XB1. Game is running on Unreal Engine 4.27
We have a very simple setup where players join into a lobby map, picks a loadout and then all players ready up and it servertravels to a combat map.
Voice works within the lobby map always without issues. But fails to work on the loading screen or after it on the combat map. Server travelling back to the lobby map and it will work just fine again.
We don't have any special voice handling code in the project. Everything is from the engine's default implementations and specific voice interfaces and online subsystems. Other voice interfaces also work just fine such as PS4 and PS5.
One curiosity was that at one point if both players created a party in Xbox and enabled the In Game chat toggle there they could hear each other through game chat even without being in the same party. This also works randomly.
Looking for any hints about where to look to alleviate this and get voice working on the loading screen and in the combat maps.
