Matchmaking when no standby servers are currently ready - will still work but longer queue time?

If a group of people queue up in matchmaking, with server allocation on match activated, but no servers are currently in standby, what will happen? Will the match still be "matched", but no server will be allocated, and so the players just sit there in a match with no server, and no future server, unless they leave the match and queue up again later? Or will the matchmaking wait to accept / create the match between the players until there are a standby server ready?

Must players manually stop queuing and wait to queue up until there's standby servers ready, or is this process automated, just that it takes longer time if no standby servers are ready in the moment the players are matched together?

basically I want to know if I need to manually handle cases where no standby servers are ready, or if matchmaking will work just fine, except for the fact that it will take a couple of minutes to start up a server, but the matchmaking itself would still work?

Thanks in advance! :)

If there is no standby server, the matchmaking process will stay in the "WaitingForServer" state until a standby server appears, then the ticket status will display "Matched", and if the waiting time for the server reaches the "GiveUpAfterSeconds" limit, the tickets will be cancelled. In general, you don't need to manually deal with the situation that there is no standby server.
