Maven support in Java SDK?,Maven or Gradle version of Java SDK?

Hi - it would be great if the Java SDK was formatted as a set of Maven projects. It would make it much easier to process updates, and easier to integrate into other Java projects.

Ideally, the SDK would get published to a standard repo (e.g. https://www.sonatype.com/nexus-repository-sonatype or https://www.jfrog.com/artifactory/). These two commercial repos would also support other platforms (e.g. C# nuget, npm, etc.)

Let me know if you would like a PR against the Java GitHub repo, or...? I'm in Kirkland, happy to come over to meet with an engineer to show how this would work...

,

The current Java SDK is a bit clunky to work with - it would be nice if it was in a standard Gradle or Maven format. Ideally, it would be great if the SDK was just pushed to a standard Maven repo.

I could send PRs to the GitHub (https://github.com/PlayFab/JavaSDK) if that would help, or if you'd like I could come over to your place (I'm in Kirkland) and explain how it would work to an engineer...?

Cheers,

-Will

I think it's a great idea to get our SDKs into more public repositories! In most cases, telling us where you want it will get it on our backlog, and multiple customers posting "me too" on the thread will amp up the priority.

We met at GDC, so I'll discuss privately how to work together on the effort, thanks!

Sure thing - think you'll make it to SeaJUG? I'll add this URL to the slide deck and ask everyone there to vote it up. ;)
