What is the best way to test an experiment

Before I roll out an experiment to the masses, I would like to verify with a manual test that my configuration for each of the variants as the intended effect.

My assumption would be that it's something like forcing myself into a particular experiment group and then forcing myself into another one. However, I can't find a way to do this.

Is there any way to manually test the results of experimental treatments?

PlayFab Experiments splits users randomly into different groups, there is no way to manually assign a specific user into a target group.

In your case, you can create a bunch of test users in order to better observe the behavior of experimental treatments.

I'll make a feature request for a test mode. Thank you.

I suppose I could create an experiment segment to only myself with no variants, test the game, stop it, create another one, etc?

Yes, that should work.

Just FYI, creating a segment that selected me and only me was exceedingly difficult. It would be so much easier if we could just tag users in the dashboard...
