I fixed the link in the other post (https://community.playfab.com/questions/86/205460608-Sending-lives-like-Candy-Crush-.html?childToView=1453#answer-1453), but more generally:

We're working on an update to the commerce system which will update trading to allow for VC and stackable item gifts/trades, which may resolve this for you (this should be in Q4). If you want to do it today, a system like the one described in those posts would work.
