What's the difference between new user retention and retention?

Hi.


I'm watching Reports on DashBoards, and I have a question.

There is a New User Retention and a General Retention.

Shouldn't Day+1 be no difference?

What's the difference between the two?

Generally, the Thirty Day New User Retention Report considers only new users who joined the game within the span of last 30 days, however, the Thirty Day Retention Report includes both new and returning users who logged into the game within the span of last 30 days.
