What defines a "Rule"

I really love the concept of Playstreams but can see in the pricing lists that it is restricted with "Rules".

What exactly defines a rule? Is it an action fired by an event?

We'll be updating the pricing soon to help clarify this, but a "Rule" is basically the set of filters and actions for a PlayStream "action". And, since action is an overloaded term, let me clarify:

In PlayStream, you'll see an Actions tab. Each of these actions - the event type, conditions and actions taken is a "Rule" in this definition. And in the Segments tab then, the actions are the things done on segment enter and exit - so the set of filters and the actions taken on segment enter are one "Rule", while the filters plus actions taken on segment exit are another "Rule".

So the easy way to think of it is, each defined action in the Actions tab is one Rule, while in the Segments tab, a segment can have two Rules - one for enter segment, and one for exit.
