Custom Events in Webhooks

Hi,

We're using the new WriteTitleEvent and WritePlayerEvent calls to log events that we're hoping will allow us to capture user error events and act on them. Our idea is to have these events trigger on Webhooks on our server to notify us of any issues automatically via email or other integration.

Our custom events do not appear in filter criteria for the Webhook configuration - so we're unable to enable the Webhooks. Is there some way we can add a Webhook with a custom event using the new API calls above? Is this a feature that's coming soon - or something that has to be enabled on our account?

Additionally, since the May 3rd update on the GameManager, we're unable to filter for these custom events in the Event History as well as it appears to be using the same filter as in Webhooks.

Thanks!

We will be adding custom events to the filter list on webhooks as soon as we can - we have a work item open for this currently. One workaround for this right now would be to not specify a filter, so that all events trigger a call to your webhook URI.

Thanks for pointing out the filtering issue in the Event History, as well - I've created a bug for the team on that, so that should be fixed soon as well.

This is still on progress? We also need this feature but it seems that it's not implemented yet.

Yes, there is a work item open on this, and we'll be getting custom events in there as soon as we can.

There's a work item open for this. That does not mean it's in active development, but that it's on our list for consideration when we do prioritization. Until it has been scheduled as part of a sprint though, we can't really provide any info on when it will be available. For now, I would recommend using the workaround described.
