Saving players' playstream data for days

Hi there!

Currently player event history has a 7 day cut off time. Is there a timeline of when Playfab plans to shorten the number of days player history is saved?

On a similar note, the dashboard to see events by players has been really helpful and currently we've archived the events to S3 through the Event Archive functionality, but is there any services out there that you'd recommend to mimic Playfab's event history dashboard (sorted by players or events)? The goal would be be able to look up a player and see what they've done in the last X number of days.

Thanks!

If you visited our booth at GDC and talked to us about pricing, I'm sure you noticed that we stated that the free tier only has one day of event retention. We haven't set a date for when we'll be updating that, but we will be making sure to give folks a heads-up when we do determine the schedule for that. Our paid tiers all have longer retention periods though, to be clear (as well as an actual SLA and additional support options).

Of the analytics providers we've integrated, we've done the most work with Appuri. It should be possible to generate a view that is very similar to our event history dashboard in their service, though you can also potentially use tools like Tableau to generate similar information. If you'd like to talk with the Appuri folks, go ahead and open a ticket with us, and we can put you in touch with them.
