Missing payload json on custom events exported using data connections

Hello,

We are triggering events on the client side and we can see them (with all our custom data) in the data explorer just fine. We have set up a data connection that saves the events to an azure blob storage.

However, when importing those events to Power BI to analyze them from azure, we found that the default playfab events are complete but our custom events are missing the custom data. Could you please provide us some guide on how solve this?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Do you mean that you export the events to the Azure Blob first, then importing the events to Power BI from the Azure Blob storage?

According to my test, the Payload in the custom events stick after events being exported to Azure Blob then imported to Power BI. And I cannot reproduce the issue. Can you describe the detail steps of how you write the custom events, set up the Azure Blob connection and import the events to Power BI?

Problem solved. One of the steps applied to Power BI import was messing things up.
