I guess you are getting that when you right click on your .uproject and select Generate Visual Studio project files?
That naming mismatch has not been an issue. I would suggest, deleting the Plugins folder from the instructions, clicking Generate Project Files to make sure it works properly, and then repeating the steps from the instructions to include the plugin.
Alternatively, you can play with the enabled flag on the .uproject.
