In the question "Does your product contain encryption?" We have to check yes when using playfab since it use https ? if yes how to get documentation about this issue?

I'm submitting an app to ios Store, and having used Plafab, how should I categorize in the encryption subject? I know it has encryption (https right?), but can I claim a exception (to not need provide extra documentation)? Since it uses for authentification and user data protection.

Thank you

Yes, the documentation on this is here:

https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/apps/faq/Managing%20Your%20Apps_Trade%20Compliance#!

But note that the only use of SSL in the PlayFab SDKs is for REST-style calls to our endpoints. If you haven't added any other encryption to your title, this should mean that you qualify for exemption. You do need to fill this form out, and you do need to to say "yes" to the encryption question. But to date, games that use SSL solely for REST-style calls have qualified for exemption (it's later in the form you fill out). Please be aware that if your title is not a game, that may not be true, and that if you have any concerns at all about how this rule may apply to you, you should really review this with your own legal counsel.

A very good point, thanks. But yes, as long as you're not doing additional encryption of any kind, it should be the case that you can mark your title as exempt.
