Maybe I found a bug in the tutorial page.

Sending Parameters from the Game Client to Cloud Script sample code is not in the right place.

That document refers to the old RunCloudScript API call, which has since been deprecated. Please use the ExecuteCloudScript call going forward (https://api.playfab.com/Documentation/Client/method/ExecuteCloudScript). We'll have additional documentation available for this shortly.
