How to create referral system?

Hey.

I want to create referral system. I found this topic https://community.playfab.com/questions/14701/creating-a-player-referral-system.html but the answer recommended to use https://github.com/PlayFab/PlayFab-Samples/tree/master/Recipes/ReferralCodes which is using CloudScript but as we know CloudScript has been changed. Is there other option to do referral system?

Cloud Script has been deprecated and Azure Function is a replacement solution. Please refer to PlayFab CloudScript using Azure Functions Quickstart Guide - PlayFab | Microsoft Docs to get started.
