Steps to Launch a game

Hi,
we will be participating to the steam fest end of February, we have already setup a card and plan to use the "launch button" next week.

is there any other 'step' to do to be sure the backend scale ( no idea how it works on your side ) ?

from what i've understood there is no other step but i prefer to have confirmation.

have a good day !

Sidney

For clarification, if the number of your game’s players hasn’t exceed 100k, you can continue to use the Development Mode for your titles. You can check our pricing page - Pricing (playfab.com) for more information about it. What do you mean about to “be sure the backend scale”? If you mean to scale limitation of the players’ number, launching the title will remove this limitation.

Besides, please check this documentation - Title Launches - PlayFab | Microsoft Docs to learn more information of the title launches. As this documentation said, to be able to move a title from Development Mode to Live Mode, a title must be in a Studio with a paid account plan. And after a title is moved to Live Mode, any meter usage over what is included in the account plan's base rate results in charges per meter consumed. So, if you want to delete the test player accounts in batches from the title to reduce the total player number, you can do it in the Development Mode to prevent being charged. This documentation also contains a warning that “Launching a title is a permanent action. The title cannot return to Development mode after the launch is completed”, please confirm you have known it before you launch the title.

As the above answer said, you need to upgrade your account plan before you launch the title, we would suggest you check the pricing page - Pricing (playfab.com) and the documentation - Account Upgrades - PlayFab | Microsoft Docs to choose the plan that most suitable for you.
