just done initial set up and got error

all i have done is log in and i get this error:

The type or namespace name 'PlayFabSharedSettings' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) [PlayFabSDKEditor]

May I know in which step did you encounter this error? Is there any code to interact with the PlayFabSharedSettings?

no. i literly haven't done anything.

You mentioned that you are getting this error when logging in. Does "log in" mean you are logging into your PlayFab developer account, or you are using the login API? May I know the detailed error message?
