My question is does playfab sell/share the data collected about players or use it in any other other way?
Our terms spell it out in more depth (Terms of Service (playfab.com)), but in simple term:
We do not sell any player data, nor do we share it with any other company.
We do use game data (including anonymized player data) to help us improve our services, as well as for educational information. So, some documentation is informed by observed patterns of use and behavior, for example.
