Please tell me there is a better way to use cloud scripts. the lack of auto-complete and method information suggestions as well as testing the API is frustrating. I can't even begin to imagine the process when the game goes live!

There is no auto-complete or method suggestions for CloudScript. However, there are many CloudScript documents that you could refer to before writing the CloudScript. This forum also has many resolved question about CloudScript that may help.
If you insist on auto-complete and method suggestions, you could write a CloudScript using Azure Function instead, where you can write the script in your local IDE.
