I am creating a 2 player Multiplayer game in Unity/Unreal with not more than 100 players overall. So is Free version of Playfab is enough?

The main content of Free version of PlayFab:

  • Development Mode, Up to 10 Titles with up to 100k users per title.
  • Try out Multiplayer Server hosting with up to 750 free compute hours.
  • Includes up to 10k total minutes of PlayFab Party Connectivity and Voice.

First of all, we can satisfy the amount of your title players. Since you have no more than 100 players, 10k total minutes of PlayFab Party Connectivity and Voice are enough. Then, if your server program functions are basic, you can use a single core VM ,750 free compute hours are enough.
