We recently entered soft launch of our title and the data exploring and reporting is great but we have one big gap in the data we need: Revenue
I understand the purpose of RM currency in PF and that your API will do purchase receipt validations with Google play store and other payment processors. Our game however sells VC using another system's own VC.
Traditional IAP: Game VC costs RM; purchases get validated, PF gives items and updates revenue statistics of RM and reports that as $ revenue.
Our IAP flow is: Game VC costs third-party VC; purchases get validated by our server, our server tells PF to give the items.
I was hoping there is some way our server could tell PF that N amount of RM was spent, without going through your payment receipt validation APIs. Since we know roughly the USD value of the third party VC, we would have some rough idea of revenue in the PF dashboard and could track "value" of players. Currently, all players are $0 spenders even though they have spent third-party VC in our game.
