Is it possible to use PlayFab for non game web applications?

We are developing a web store and are in search for a sales platform, like shopify. We have, however, noticed that those services lack a lot of features which are standard in PlayFab. Since our shop will only sell digital goods, the missing delivery aspect of PlayFab is of no concern to us.

I guess the question is, are there reasons preventing us from using PlayFab for a regular web based online store?

Yes, it’s possible. There have been some non-game applications running on PlayFab. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to let us know.

Hi Alexander, I'm curious if this worked out for you eventually? We're in a very simular situation now also looking into this for a non-gaming experience.
