How to remove Player inventory items - not just revoke

We are getting a notification on exceeded provisioned limit for Player inventory items.

This is a notification that (title ####) exceeded its current provisioned limit for:
Resource: Player inventory items
Limit: 1,500 items
Requested: 1,660 items
Details: Timestamp: 2020-04-05T19:47:09 UTC

We have tried to revoke a large chunk of this players inventory items, but it doesn't make the usage notifications stop. Is there a way to actually remove Player inventory items or resolve this?

Hi, may I ask what's your title ID? Is it a live title and what is the current subscription plan? Is there any urgent business impact on this issue?
