PlayFab's Multiplayer Spending Limit

According to this page, https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/gaming/playfab/features/multiplayer/servers/billing-for-thunderhead

I am new to PlayFab, and I am in middle of understand how the service go.


We knew the pricing of PlayFab's Multiplayer. So would only options 3 below have spending limit and kinda limited? We knew how hard to earn money from Games especially in current almost vast market, maybe from ads. So would love to knew there is some spending control over the consumption rate, or possible can be limit by support/ could be add as feature. Thanks.

According to following:

  1. Billing through credit card.
  2. Billing through PlayFab invoicing. This is ideal for many professional projects, but requires you to contact our customer services group to get set up.
  3. Billing through Azure & Microsoft Enterprise Agreements. This is ideal for organizations that may have a volume deal with Azure or another Microsoft product line. Please contact our customer services group or your Azure solutions specialist to learn more.

Can you clarify your question? We bill specifically for the amount of compute used. If you want to limit the total of that billing, you would limit the amount of server time you use. If you mean which of those options affords any discount, that would be option 3. Larger customers with Azure Enterprise Agreements, where they are committing to using a high volume of compute time would be eligible for discounted rates.

I see. I saw the limit of the amount of server time now. It make sense.
We don't have any other consumption need right? Especially network bandwidth for Authentication only for Indie Studio and Professional above.

I am building some productive app to manage user's workspace,timer/alarm, TODO, similar to this: https://getrolan.com/. But with more feature, more integrated and even keyboard navigated, workspace, and tile management.


Once i using PlayFab's authentication then i will save their data in s3/azure object storage/etc. I find that PlayFab have a good limit of MAU for login system, thus i have another question: https://community.playfab.com/questions/36066/can-i-develop-saas-like-todo-list-and-using-azure.html

I would really like to use State In The art's Authentication server rather than develop my own. So I thinking of calling https://api.playfab.com/documentation/authentication from any of server like Vultr etc, and link entity with user's data in object storage. Implement Azure Active Directory B2C seem to be good place, but I am clueless so PlayFab API feel like in my comfort zone as now I concentrated on OS integration.
