Data warehouse for storage and analysis

Dears,

In our game we are collecting a lot of data and we want to store it and analyse it.

The Playfab Explorer is very good, but it keeps the data for only 30 days.

We also understand that there was an Add-on called Snowflake but it looks like it has been cancelled.

So what do you suggest?

shall we use Amazon S3 services to analyse our data since it is already stored/backed-up there?

Or shall we transfer it somehow to Azure knowing that Playfab is going towards "PlayFab Insights" which uses Azure and the Kusto query language that we are already using in The Playfab Explorer??

Please help.

PlayFab Explorer keeps data for 30 days and it is by design. If you are Essential Tier users, currently the feasible solution should be the Event Archive feature of PlayFab, which is based on AWS S3 bucket.

However, you may be interested in Event Archiving v2 when it is available (currently in Private Preview). Event Archiving v2 is a feature similar to Snowflake but with lots additional features and is a service based on Azure Blob Storage. Moreover, Data explorer of PlayFab is based on Azure Data Explorer, and there is a way to export the data from Blob storage to Data Explorer, which should be flexible. For more details, in terms of Azure service dedicated support, you may contact via Azure support channel. Once it is available in Public Preview, it will be supported for all titles.

In addition, keeping track of our blog and documentation will help you know the latest updates on preview features.

Hello. Can you please clarify under what name these technologies are now known? Is this "Insights"?
