Data Explorer provides some of the functionality that will be needed by our game, but since it is in preview it does not seem like we can count on any of the existing functionality still being sufficient for our needs when it goes live. At what date will Data Explorer be out of preview, or otherwise have functionality sufficiently finalized that we can depend upon that functionality continuing to be available?
Data Explorer is now in public preview, which means the major functionality of it has been finalized and the possibility of occurrence of major changes is low. It will still need some time before it enters general availability but is ok to use for now. You can continue using the preview features after it enters general availability. Please take an eye on our blog to track the latest updates of such preview features.
