We've received a bug from our publisher. For the Player_Logged_In and Player_Added_Title analytic events, they are requiring we send a platform value of "iOS" or "Android" instead of "Facebook".
From what we understand, we don't have control of the platform value sent with these events and these events are automatically generated when we authenticate the player. PlayFab documentation seems say best practices are to unlink the player's device ID once we have linked their Facebook account.
It also seems that if a player signs into Facebook on a second phone with a different device ID, the only way to get their player data is authenticating through Facebook.
However, our publisher states that their games from other developers are able to send "iOS" and "Android" and are requiring us to not send "Facebook". Can you let us know how to accomplish this? How can we get player data on a second device and still send a platform of "iOS" or "Android" for these analytics events, and not "Facebook"?
