Question from a developer:

I've already created a Studio, but I see that there's also a way to pass a Publisher ID into the account registration and login functions. What's the difference between Studio and Publisher?

Basically, Studio and Publisher serve very different purposes. The Studio is "team" in PlayFab, where you have all your titles set up. The Publisher is solely there to allow for Publisher IDs, which are used to segment users in a way that our developer community let us know they need. Which is to say, having a distinct space for their user accounts (as opposed to the general PlayFab account space) and a user data space which can be shared across titles in a franchise.
