Server.GetCharacterStatistics doesnt return PlayFabId & CharacterId as specified in documentation

Trying to get the PlayFabId and CharacterId through the same call as Server.GetCharacterStatistic. Looking at https://api.playfab.com/documentation/server/method/GetCharacterStatistics it seems this functionality does exist, however when calling this through postman I dont get the PlayFabId or CharacterId.

Is this a bug? Due to latency I really need to be able to pull these Ids through the same call as the GetCharacterStatistics.

Yes, this does look strange. We are looking into this issue

This also seems to be happening with the Client.GetCharacterInventoryResult response as well. Attached image showing the reponse and expected response in documentation.

Thank you for reporting these two issues:

  • Server.GetCharacterStatistics doesn’t return PlayFabId & CharacterId as specified in documentation
  • Client.GetCharacterInventoryResult doesn’t contain CharacterId as specified in documentation

We have informed the team to investigate it. We'll updated this post as more information become available.
