So on the pricing page, the Indie Tier says First 100k MAU free. But below that it says that you pay after 1k MAU? How is the first 100k MAU free if you pay after the first 1k?

The update to the pricing page introduced a few errors which we're having the marketing team fix. That's one of them. Another is the way the features are listed - all tiers have access to all features, it's just that the free tier has fairly low limits (particularly around the LiveOps capabilities).
The Indie tier is $99 a month, after you have 1,000 or more MAU. At 100K MAU, the account auto-converts to the Professional tier.
@Brendan I just replied but it isn't showing. Hopefully it doesn't post it twice. Thanks for the clarification! One last question though. It says the Indie Tier is limited time, so does that mean it won't be available forever? As an indie dev, the pricing/features are perfect so I hope it doesn't.

In terms of "limited time", it's fair to say that when we created that tier, it was an experiment and we weren't sure we'd be keeping it. Obviously, we've had it for quite a while now. Regardless, if you sign up for a tier of service, that'll be honored for the period stated in the sign-up agreement (at least).
