Problem with counting DAU from API gathered data

Hello!

I am trying to use data collected by PlayFab in Tableau via DB and API — and I ran into some problems with it.

After counting distinct users (entityid in player_logged_in) with grouping by date of timestamp I've got a different result from PlayFab DAU chart.
How are you counting DAU in the analytics tab? Why there could be a difference like that?

It seems your problem has been solved in ticket. Generally, DAU is "the number of distinct user accounts that signed into the title during the day in question, calculated using UTC time". The numbers can be off by a small amount, but that has to do with logins that happen right around the day boundary.
