Where should I enable Steam authentication when using Photon & Playfab?

Hi,

The project I'm currently working on makes use of the 3 services:

  • Playfab for game data management
  • Photon for realtime multiplayer and matchmaking
  • Steam for authentication and distribution of the game

How should I setup the whole thing to get the best of it? I'm confused because I can setup Steam on both platforms (Playfab and Photon)...

Should I set it up on Playfab? on Photon? on Both?

Hi @philippe.dasilva,

Thank you for choosing Photon!

You should let PlayFab handles the profile management. So connecting using Steam account and linking to Steam account should be used from PlayFab only.

From Photon authenticate using PlayFab once connected there.
