Great question! The unfortunate answer is that, when you've exceeded your Community Sift Display Name profanity checks limit, we continue to return a success code. We also don't send a limit exceeded warning to your email the way we do for other limits. We're aware this is not a great story and will be fixing it as soon as we can allocate the right resources.
In the interim, I'd encourage you to proactively set your limit at a level appropriate for your incoming player estimates. Also, keep an eye on it as your game launches to ensure you have plenty of room.
