Just a heads up: Looks like a commit on August 9 2018 on the iOS/ObjectiveC SDK repo removed all the code files necessary to build the sample project. We are starting a new iOS-based project using Playfab so just noticed this.
We were able to find the missing sample code from earlier commits on the repo. The autogenerated SDK code for Objective C also had some evident bugs which were fairly easy to fix.
This is low priority as it is not breaking our development at all, however not finding sample code and a working SDK might be a turnoff for less experienced developers. Leaving this comment here hoping that this can be fixed sometime in the future. Thanks!
