Thank you for your feedback. We currently do not provide enough guide articles for Unreal engine, and we are planning to offer more tutorials for the developers in the future.
For the multi-play functions, if there are high data exchange frequency and large concurrent connected user quantity requirement, we suggest you to implement your own Custom Game Servers. An official Unity PlayFab Custom Game Server sample is hosted on the Github which can be a good reference for you.
Besides, photon is an alternative solution for your issue. It is an on-premises real-time socket server and cross platform multiplayer game development framework that is fast and simple to use. Photon is a powerful tool that can customize your multi-play experiences while save your development time. For more than 20 CCU concurrent connected users , PlayFab will bill you monthly per 100 CCU. Our website provide a detailed step by step setting up guide -- Getting started with Photon and Unity. For Unreal engine, please see the guide article at Photon official website here.
That somehow posted the question without the content, haha. (must have closed the window, its been one of those days...)
The guide you posted here: https://api.playfab.com/docs/tutorials/landing-tournaments/custom-game-servers
