does shared group data work with unity sdk?

I understand the limitations and think it is still useful for my use case (only 2 users and async ) .

I couldn't find any c# examples on how to implement it. Any pointers would be appreciated?

Yes, all our data systems work fine with all our SDKs. There are some examples of using Shared Group Data in this deck: https://www.slideshare.net/thomrobbins/playfab-advanced-cloud-script/.
