Headless Server

Are there any plans for allowing users to host with a Linux headless server?

We do not directly support player-hosted servers, as the Server API requires the Secret Key - which, in turn, gives the user the ability to make any Server API call on your title (which would allow a hacker to effectively destroy your game). But there are some relatively lightweight ways you could do this. For example, you could use Photon Realtime as a matchmaking proxy for your player-hosted servers, having each player host open a Room in that service, to advertise their game.

Oh! Yes, we're looking into making Linux servers an option later this year.
