Issue with playfab datacenters being in washington

Many developers are using playfab to interact and send finanical apis such as bitcoin and other payments via 3rd party payment providers

Washington does not allow this kind of activity without a state liscence which is not easy to obtain and impossible for small developers

Thus 3rd party payment providers are forced to block all payment traffic coming from washington

It seems that as of a few days ago playfab started to redirect traffic out of washington

Which resulted in 3rd party payment providers stopping traffic to those playfab developers and thus breaking their games

Was their any reason or consideration into moving traffic through washington which is a restricitve state? will this be reversed?

Previously, PlayFab core API server is hosted in AWS US-West-2 (Oregon). Now PlayFab is migrating to Azure and core API servers are hosted in Azure West US 2 region, which happens to be located in Washington.
