Will there be an option in the future for a longer Leaderboard Reset Frequency? The longest option is a month, most games like Brawl Stars and Fort Nite have much longer seasons than a month.
Having only a month long season makes it harder to manage content for that season, it is a fast pace.
Currently, PlayFab doesn’t have plan to provide a longer Leaderboard Reset Frequency. As a workaround, you can create a Scheduled task and set when to run this task. And in the “Type of task” field, you can choose “Run Cloud Script Azure Function once”. Then you can use API Player Data Management - Increment Player Statistic Version - REST API (PlayFab Admin) | Microsoft Learn to reset the leaderboard anytime you want to via the Azure Function. This adds too much complexity to our implementation. In addition to doing what you described we would also have to implement the timer again on how long until the leaderboard reset.
