Question from a developer:
If I choose the Premium tier, do I still get the first 1000 user a day for free? Do you calculate the users per day ever day, or do some kind of averaging over the month? If a user signs into the same account on 5 different devices, does that could as 1 DAU or 5 DAU? If he signs in 3 times in a day, is that 1 DAU or 3?

Sorry, no - the "first 1K free" offer is out of date at this point. The latest info on our pricing will always be on the pricing page, here: https://playfab.com/pricing/. It is worth noting that we're constantly working to find ways to offer more services at lower prices (and in our free tier), so we'll update that page from time to time as we manage to get you better pricing. And if any significant changes occur to the pricing structure, we'll make sure to broadcast that on multiple channels (newsletter, Twitter, etc.).

Yes, all three tiers ? Standard, Premium, and Publisher ? get the first 1000 DAU free every day. All DAU is calculated based on actual user sign-in operations each day, and a single user signing into the same account will only ever be one DAU for a given day, regardless of the number of times that user signs in, across all devices.
It?s important to be aware of what account creation operations you use, if your game is on multiple devices. If, for example, you choose to use the CreateAccount option when signing in new users on iOS and Android devices, you could be creating two distinct accounts which would not share the same user data (in addition to being separate DAUs). Instead, you should check if the player has a pre-existing account and sign them into that first (or just choose to use the LoginWithPlayFab method consistently across all platforms).

I just stumbled across this response. Is this still true? The current pricing page on the main site doesn't mention the free 1K DAU for Standard and Premium tiers.
