New project has a lower limit than my existing project

Question from a developer:

We just created a new title in PlayFab, but we're seeing a lower limit than we had in our previous title for one or more of the limits. Why is that?

When we started enforcement of the limits, we gave all live titles exceptions to the limits at their current usage levels, to ensure we would not break any of them. However, that was a one-time exception - it is not economically feasible for us to continue to provide those upgrades to subsequent titles. If you need higher limits, we would recommend signing up for the professional tier, which provides higher limits to many of our service components. As of August, 2017, some of the essential differences would be:

Economy: Catalog (3000 items in pro vs 250 in free, 1500 inventory items in player accounts vs 100)

Statistics/Leaderboards: 300 vs 25 Cloud Script: Execution time (10 seconds vs 5 for Client/Server API-initiated handlers), API call limit (25 vs 15), script size (1M vs 50K)

Live ops: User segmentation (100 segments vs 10), action triggers (100 vs 3), A/B tests (25 vs 1)

Analytics: Event history (30 days vs 7), event body size (10K vs 1K), task processing speed (100 processing units per second vs 10), concurrent tasks (3 vs 1)

Data: User/Character/Shared Group Data (300K vs 10K for the Value size, 10 Keys vs 5), Title Data (1M vs 20K for Value size, 1000 keys vs 50)
