The Username is intended as an internal reference, while the purpose of the Title Display Name is for sharing between users. What I would recommend is setting the Title Display Name to be the same as the Username on the first login to the title, if the goal is to use it as the display name. I'll open a backlog item to add the option to return the Username with the profile information in a future update.
