With this feature, a player could know their percentile on the leaderboard.
Any news regarding this very important feature?
I see, this feature was requested quite a long time ago and seems to be one of the most demanding feature. Can you guys give any ETA, if this feature is in pipeline.
When a feature is requested is not relevant to when it will be implemented. We prioritize in part based on our overall plan for the service and in part based on developer feedback. Since the Segmentation system provides an easy way to get player totals, this is not one that has been an urgent need of most developers we've spoken with. But that said, we are working on getting the v2 leaderboard system into the schedule, so that we can provide more functionality in this space. Keep an eye on our roadmap page for more info on this.
Being something as simple, basic, useful and mandatory as this, I assume it will never happen, as it's been asked for 6 whole years. Our studio have removed all products from Playfab solely because of this. And so have many others we work with. Playfab is absolutely abandoned.
All registered users want to be rewarded for their ranking. However, it is difficult to compensate without knowing the total registrants. It is pointless to give a reward for every predictable rank.
