We have developers editing PlayFab using the web browse and using a tool in Unity. The tool in Unity helps them create the data easily and then will upload the catalog, thus replacing what is currently in there. I need a way to ensure that when a developer with the unity tool needs to upload their new data, that they don't overwrite other changes. One idea would be to use CatalogVersion, but there's no way to ensure that the developer had all the changes from the previous catalog version before uploading the new one. When I fetch title data UnityRecord, it comes with a way to check when that was last edited. We need a similar check for a Catalog, that way the tool can check if what is being uploaded to replace the current catalog is fully up to date.
