The IP-based API call throttling causes problems in LAN environments. We are working on a multiplayer game and while testing with 10 players in our office it's very easy to become throttled. We fear this might also cause problems in e-sport events and other settings where many players are on the same LAN.
It would be nice if we could specify individual IPs in an allow list to have relaxed throttling quotas, even temporarily.
