To better align with support and security guidelines from Microsoft and Xbox, the Microsoft Azure PlayFab Party SDK will stop releasing updates for the XDK and Windows 7 versions of the PlayFab Party library on August 1, 2023.
For titles which are using Windows 7 or XDK versions of the PlayFab Party library there will be no impact to the operation of your game. The PlayFab Party networking and voice services will continue to work as they are now for your existing game clients. You can continue to release client updates using existing Windows 7 or XDK versions of the PlayFab Party SDK. However, there will be no further PlayFab Party updates for these platforms in the future. If you need to pick up a new PlayFab Party feature for your game, we recommend you update to the Windows 11 and/or GDK version of the library.
