UGC storage pricing

Hi,

in the billing summary for november it says 14 GB of UGC storage is used, but in the billing summary for december it says only 1 GB of UGC storage is used. In your UGC billing example it says that downloading images or content only counts into the UGC requests meter.

So where does this difference in UGC storage usage come from? Were 13 GB of UGC deleted by the users or does only newly created UGC count towards the UGC storage meter and/or are downloads counted into the UGC storage meter?

There's an issue with how it's displaying. We're still investigating the fix.

The storage usage was being summed instead of averaged for the month. This explains why it reset at the start of December and has been increasing since. We've made a fix to the billing system and followed up with the customers who were impacted by the mistake.

As the document mentioned, the storage meter is determined by the total size of all content (both files and images). Therefore, the difference usually means some UGC contents have been deleted.

Or there could be a billing error. What Title Id are you asking about?

I've checked yesterday and it was 2 GB, today it's 2.6 GB of UGC storage usage. This can't be true, our UGC is rarely above 100 KB per piece, in the last 24 hours there were about 41 created upload URLs. There seems something wrong.

Hi,

the UGC billing still seems to be broken.

I followed up and discovered another place where the aggregation is incorrect. I expect a fix will roll out this week or next.
