I notice that not only is the version for the Java SDKs out of data in Maven Central, but also that the usage seems to be really low (like 1 usage across many versions)? Is this project still actively maintained?

We will maintain this repository all the time, and there was an update recently, you can check it out. If you need any other SDK, please refer to the documentation SDKs overview.
