Photon Authentication for 2 titles

Our game has been live for years using Photon with a Realtime App ID and Playfab. We set the authentication up long ago. We are looking into doing a Steam Demo version of the game. Steam Demo requires a new App ID. Playfab then requires a new Title in order to use the Steam Add On and stick in the new Steam App ID. The Photon Add On says "Unable to save Photon configuration because the given Photon Application Id is already in use by another title in Playfab." When I try to use the same Realtime App ID.

We need our players in the Demo to play against our "fulltime" player's. We need the Custom Authentication from Playfab IDs to work with that same App ID - we have a set CCU, we have the same lobbies etc. We have to use the authentication for our authentication flow, re writing that in some other way would be too much effort and risk and we've been susceptible to hackers before.

Other posts seem to answer "No you can't". Please advise as we need a fast solution to be able to have the Demo run, using the same Photon backend (it's bad enough that we have to have a 2nd Playfab title and cannot easily migrate settings - which all need to be identical, and need to figure out a way to transfer Demo player progression over to another title)

Please help

Currently, one Photon Realtime App ID can only be associated with one PlayFab title. It is likely designed to ensure unique identification and security for each game title, you may need to generate a different Photon ID for the new PlayFab Title ID. For more info, please refer to the thread : Can't I use the same Photon ID in two Titles? - Playfab Community.
