Is it possible to remove IP Address completely from Playfab?

Hi everyone,

We are currently working on a game and noticed that Playfab shows us a user's IP address. We do not wish to keep this data on our end and would love to know if this option can be completely removed?

I am aware of the option to default all IP addresses to 0, but we would not like any reference any IP addresses visible on playfab.

Is this possible in any way?

Currently, we do not support removing the IP address information completely from PlayFab. As you mentioned, if your game is PII (Personally Identifiable Information)-sensitive, you can enable player IP address obfuscation, it will always record 0 for the last octet of a player's IP. For more info, please refer to API Feature Settings in the PlayFab Game Manager - PlayFab | Microsoft Learn. And you can also post a feature request for it.
