in our billing summary for June we have 7.5 million UGC requests, but the reports in the game overview it says 3.9 million for all requests last month (June). Previous month we had only 2.2 million UGC requests in our billing summary and our active players haven't been increased that much. Is the counting probably broken?
Thanks for confirming. I think there are three separate things here.
Half our catalog billing system (specifically, the part counting CDN requests) was not working until we fixed it around the end of May. We'd been under-charging most customers (but we figured you wouldn't mind). This amounted to around a 2x meter increase in June for your title.
I can see a traffic pattern change in your title starting on June 15th. It looks like your rate of requests increased by 50-100% across most of PlayFab and has stayed pretty steady since.
We looked into the game overview report but can't identify the discrepancy. It looks pretty consistent to us.
Thanks for the report. We can look into whether the system is aggregating correctly. What Title Id are you referring to?
